Birthday Blessings

Hello lovely people,
How are you doing .Sorry ..... ....... ...... I was away from the blog land ,from past 2 weeks.
But now I am back.
past two weeks were much happening .happy and sad ..... both ways .
And the stitch along ,counted blessings project is a constant reminder of God's love and Amazing Grace , in the midst of all chaos.
By the end of all ,life is a blessing in itself , that very sense of being a living being is a miracle in itself .
I celebrated my birthday on 18th of  may ,and truly missed you all , as I wanted share my day with my very special friends from blog land.
Here is my favourite German black forest cake , brought by my very special friend Kamal ,thank you.

Happy Birthday to me.....

I had a lovely day , surrounded by  loving friends although I was missing my mom and dad a lot as its been years I have celebrated my birthday at home.this time I was determined to be with them ,but.....................I have enrolled myself for ACLA [Advanced cardiovascular Life Support ] workshop with AHA [ American Heart Association].Now I know it was a wise decision.
well..... Lord has been really good to me .Bless me .
I know what  will be my next blessing squares in the stitch along...
I got a huge pile of things to share with you ,also the small crochet flower pattern too ,specially for Paula and my other crochet lover friends, in my next post .

  4. Rachana...I have missed you sososooooo much while you have been away from the computer. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! German chocolate cake has always been my favorite, too....along with fresh coconut cake. Can’t wait to see more of your precious crochet pieces. Maybe one day I will learn to do it without making such a mess of things. Take care and save a little bit of “special time” for yourself in between all of your studies and your medical practice. Hugs, Genie

  8. Hi, Rachana!

It seems like you had a lovely birthday.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I have yours in my Google reader and, although I don't read every single day, I do try always to go back and read all the posts for the blessings SAL.

Where in India are you? My husband is from Allahabad, but he has not been back to India since 1960 (or sometime back then).

I too would love to see any of your other artistic endeavors, especially fabric and fiber arts.
