BLESSING SQUARE  : 12  - VACATIONS

Vacations ..............

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew......

 this word has a great feel ,even a thought of it is refreshing.

how much we folks ,

look forward towards spending time hoidaying .

White sand beaches, lucious palm trees,

Pitch my tent and settle in,

                                         I am  here for awhile ,

                                    in My vacation  dream ! Ohh ,
               
                                         how much i look forward ,

                                      to be in the woods and natures trail ,


                           to relish the foods and  people of culture and craft.


                          Dear Lord thank you that we could ,

                           lie down and relax as we move ,
  
                             out of the hustle and bustle of life ,


                          to feel you more closer in the solitude of nature.

How much i love to gaze the sky while ,on my terrace.

have even tried counting them.

how i use to  love those twinkling little stars as a child and guess i will never

grow old for that .

and yes the twinkilng star is also a sign for hope for me

it remind me of my saviours birth , a giuding star.

how much i missed being away from bloggy land and all of you.

My garden is an immense source of joy for me and for everyone who drops by .

specially the little sparrows ans sun birds ,who are the proud residents here.

      My most favourite part is the entrance covered my dark pink bougainvilleas.

Dear Lord,

Thankyou for the This is the garden's magic,

                                        That through the sunny hours

                                          I grows by gift of patience,


                                        Since me, who sows must know


                                        That only in the Lord's good time

HELLOOOOOOOOOOOO

Hellooooooooooooooo,


Dear lovely people , I couldn't believe I have been away from blogyland for more then five weeks now , forgive me for that ,as I was holidaying and had a great ,refreshing and I must say rejuvenating time at home with my parents and siblings .surrounded by beauty, loads of greens and heavenly showers after the scorching Indian summer.

Had been thinking about you all ,often ,wondering what you girls are doing and how are my stitch along Friends progressing with blessing squares.
I had some progress in my squares too and lots more to share with you.will be needing few more days to settle down at work and home front ,as its just been a couple of hours i am back from holidays ,but couldn't resist to say hello to my lovely people.

            Here ,few shots from my mom's garden.

BLESSING SQUARE : 5, 6 ,..........

Dear Lovely people,

How are you doing ,most you must be holidaying around .

somehow summers are synonym with fun filled outings , refreshing breaks from the usual busy life.

I have quite a busy-in -n -out  schedule now a days.

Have I mentioned before ............
I am going for a long awaited holidays , a moderately satisfactory number of days ...hmmmmm ....12-15 days .That's the maximum I am able to manage in past 8 months .
I am going to my parents place ,which is situated among the dense forests of central India.
I love Jungles and country side and just the site of dense greenery fill my senses , and above all the company of my dear family , Its like having Browne with hot chocolate fudge.

Its so Greene green around there at home .My younger sister is home with my little 4yrs old nephew,who keeps his grand paa n granny going about ,no matter what hours .


I am having lots of things in my  mind to share with you about home and the people and day-to day life there ,with loads of pics.
If there is anything specific you are interested in about Indian country side ,please let me know .

BLESSING SQUARE : 5 - HOME SWEET HOME

I could never imagine home with out loads of green and flowers around . I am very much a natures child ,brought up in the very lap of mother nature ,spent childhood playing about there,

we have dense teak wood forests and hundreds of variety of flora and fonna , deers, tigers ,jackal ,
foxes , bison , peacocks . There are two national tiger reserves and two national parks in about 200kms radius.


BLESSING SQUARE : 5  TREES

The famous JUNGLE BOOK of Rudyard Kipling  is thought to have been set in Pench National Park,which lies in our district ,The Jungle Book (1894) is a collection of stories written by Rudyard Kipling.

The stories were first published in magazines in 1893–4. The original publications contained illustrations, some by Rudyard's father, John Lockwood Kipling. Kipling was born in India and spent the first six years of his childhood there. After about ten years in England, he went back to India and worked there for about six-and-half years. These stories were written when Kipling lived in Vermont.The Jungle Book, because of its moral tone, came to be used as a motivational book by the Cub Scouts, a junior element of the Scouting movement.

 The ones among you who have seen the TV series Jungle book can imagine , how beautiful the life around here could be .
This reminds me of lots of blessings which we have through our jungles.

Birthday Blessings

Hello lovely people,
How are you doing .Sorry ..... ....... ...... I was away from the blog land ,from past 2 weeks.
But now I am back.
past two weeks were much happening .happy and sad ..... both ways .
And the stitch along ,counted blessings project is a constant reminder of God's love and Amazing Grace , in the midst of all chaos.
By the end of all ,life is a blessing in itself , that very sense of being a living being is a miracle in itself .
I celebrated my birthday on 18th of  may ,and truly missed you all , as I wanted share my day with my very special friends from blog land.
Here is my favourite German black forest cake , brought by my very special friend Kamal ,thank you.

Happy Birthday to me.....

I had a lovely day , surrounded by  loving friends although I was missing my mom and dad a lot as its been years I have celebrated my birthday at home.this time I was determined to be with them ,but.....................I have enrolled myself for ACLA [Advanced cardiovascular Life Support ] workshop with AHA [ American Heart Association].Now I know it was a wise decision.

well..... Lord has been really good to me .Bless me .

I know what  will be my next blessing squares in the stitch along...

I got a huge pile of things to share with you ,also the small crochet flower pattern too ,specially for Paula and my other crochet lover friends, in my next post .

BLESSING SQUARE : 3 & 4

My square 3 is dedicated my darling mommy

Dear friends ,

My mom is a pillar of strength for us at home.

She is a strong  women ,with a mind of her own , very hard working ,and a great fun to be with.

My friends feel more closer to  my mom ,when it comes to sharing there heart ,more then me ,a great cook ,very talented . Oh mommy . how much I miss the food you make .

She is going to be retired soon from her work ,and I want to take her for a long Cruise or any places of her choice. exclusively planning a mother -daughter holiday on her retirement.

She has special love for vintage and have taught us kids to preserve and love nature.

I love you Mommy.

SQUARE : 4


My square 4 is RAINY CLOUDS.....................

OHHHHH... how much I long  for rain .we are having the peak of summer here in India,
and every one wants a bit of relief from heat.
whenever I think of rain ,I think of home and pakoras  [ a deep fried ,crunchy Indian snack].
sitting in the garden shade and sipping ginger tea. My dad makes lovely pakoras .I love the smell of earth , after the first rain.

It is very important for the economy of our nation as quite a few of farmers ,depends on rain for the irrigation of there crop.
We even have festivals and folk songs on rain.
NOW . I simply want to be drenched.

Thank you for the life giving rain ,dear Lord.
